Description:You will be the Manufacturing Engineer (PWB Fabrication) for the Missiles & Fire Control Manufacturing Engineering – Dallas Electrical Shop PWB team. Our team is responsible for delivering high‑quality Printed Wiring Boards (PWB) that enable mission‑critical missile systems.
What You Will Be Doing:
As the Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for advancing manufacturing processes, work instructions, and risk‑mitigation strategies for the PWB shop.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Develop, create, and maintain work instructions, task lists, and re‑work/repair guides for non‑conformance processing.
Identify production risks, devise mitigation plans, and lead validation activities for new manufacturing lines.
Drive cost‑reduction initiatives from concept through closure while ensuring schedule, quality, and safety targets are met.
Support testing, hardware, and tooling issues; collaborate with shop‑floor personnel, management, and program leads.
Champion continuous‑improvement and lean practices to reduce waste, enhance affordability, and improve overall efficiency.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:- Ability to work independently and as a group with little guidance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Ability to interpret drawings, Computer-Aided Design (CAD) models, product/performance specifications, and other systems integration technical data
- Ability to liaison between Subcontractors, internal disciplines, and internal shop(s) Production Operations
- Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline, or 3+ years of related manufacturing experience.
-Ability to obtain Secret security clearance.
Desired Skills:- Demonstrated effective communication skills including verbal, listening, technical writing, and presentations
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, including team building, collaboration, and developing enduring business relationships
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve technical/process issues varying from basic to very complex
- Experience manufacturing PWB/PCBs to IPC and J-STD specifications
- Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experience in MPM Link process changes
- Experience with SAP production control system and Windchill.
-Ability to learn new and complex processes.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
