Join our dynamic audit team at ERAC, a corporate holding of GE Aerospace, as a Reinsurance Auditor and lead audits that drive transparency, innovation, and integrity across reinsurance operations. You’ll own the full audit lifecycle—from planning and sampling to reporting and resolution—while influencing key decisions across Long Term Care, Life, and other product lines. Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-audit review, communication, and sample selection activities in accordance with the audit scope and plan
- Perform desk and/or field audits of reinsured claims, policies or administrative processes, documenting findings and recommendations using established tools.
- Review audit findings, develop actionable recommendations and compose detailed data-driven audit reports
- Present audit results and coordinate response reconciliation activities with clients until audit closure
- Track and monitor post-audit follow-up actions including the implementation of recommendations to ensure resolution
- Collaborate with clients to influence positive and sustainable changes in alignment with industry standards
- Provide ongoing support and input to clients regarding claim accuracy and fraud mitigation practices, as appropriate
- Review and adjudicate reinsurance claims, responding to internal and client inquiries promptly and accurately
- Analyze audit results metrics to identify processing trends, control gaps, and improvement opportunities
- Maintain and expand knowledge of reinsurance contracts, claims and policy administration practices and industry standards
- Support continuous improvement
- Collaborate with the broader operations team and other organizational functions as needed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or insurance from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of commensurate experience)
- Minimum three years (3) of experience in reinsurance, auditing and/or adjudicating insurance claims.
- Ability to query and analyze data to identify opportunities, evaluate options, and make informed decisions
- Self-driven with strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to navigate other business-related software, including claim processing systems and applications.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills

Note: Position can be hybrid or remote
The base pay range for this position is $73,800.00 - 98,800.00 The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan.
