This hybrid position seamlessly merges strategic support, client engagement, and field experience, providing you with a strong foundation to advance toward a full-time Business Consultant role. Your efforts will be vital in bridging the gap between opportunity and activation, driving success for both our Business Consultants and the merchants they support.

Key Responsibilities:
Drive Sales Efficiency & Merchant Success:
• Work excess lead flow from bank partners from the Fiserv corporate office with additional opportunities to meet with merchants out in the field, ensuring timely follow-up and engagement with potential Clover customers
• Proactively schedule and confirm appointments with merchants, especially those who are hard to reach
• Reschedule missed or canceled appointments and keep calendars optimized
• Support Business Consultants with lead follow-up and appointment readiness
Enhance Merchant Onboarding & Experience:
• Send welcome emails and guide merchants through the “What’s Next” process
• Assist in scheduling activation appointments and follow-ups
• Communicate program benefits, such as the Merchant to Merchant referral program, to enhance merchant engagement
Lead Execution of Strategic Initiatives and Follow Up:
• Lead execution of strategically important corporate initiatives, focusing on selling Software as a Service (SaaS) and Value-Added Service (VAS) products such as Clover Capital—a working capital solution for SMBs
• Track and follow up on offers, such as Clover Capital, to ensure merchants are effectively engaged and supported throughout the process
Gain Experience as a Business Consultant:
• Gain exposure to field sales activities by shadowing Business Consultants and participating in merchant interactions
• Gain experience by working as a Business Consultant temporarily to backfill, with the possibility of relocating within the region if needed for up to three months, enhancing your journey toward becoming a full-time Clover Business Consultant
Qualifications:
What You Will Need:
• A High School Diploma or GED
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience in a customer-facing or sales support role
• Proficiency with digital tools (Calendly, email, CRM systems)
What Would Be Excellent to Have:
• A Bachelor’s degree or military experience.
• 3+ years of sales experience, particularly in consultative and relationship-driven roles.
• A proven track record of designing strategies that drive pipeline growth and revenue.
