Description:The National Security Space Analyst is a member of the Lockheed Martin Government Affairs (LMGA) staff responsible for providing an integrated customer-facing capability for the long-term growth of Lockheed Martin. As a member of the Washington LMGA team, this position is responsible for developing close working relationships with the United States Government customers and stakeholders in the Washington DC area, including the Space Force, Intelligence Community, OSD staffs in the Pentagon, and OMB and NSC staff in the White House to facilitate the discovery, evaluation, qualification, and development of new business opportunities and “keep sold” activities on programs of record. This portfolio will focus on broad, cross-functional campaign development and execution across the full range of the national security space missions, consistent with the evolving US government approach to national security space. This individual must be familiar with current national security space architectures, evolving DoD and IC acquisition approaches, and concepts surrounding Title 10/Title 50 space capabilities integration and collaboration. This individual will ensure consistent messaging to the government; establish priorities and support strategic mission area campaign plans; and add value to LMGA and business area programs and activities. This individual will also work closely with the Lockheed Martin Legislative Affairs team in the development of integrated congressional engagement strategies and plans.
Basic Qualifications:• Subject matter expertise with the Space Force and OSD organizations, Intelligence Community, and associated enterprises, processes is required.
• Highly developed communications and leadership skills.
• Experience in DoD and Intelligence Community space programs, acquisition, budgeting, and requirements processes.
• Efficient and effective planning and organizational skills, including extraordinary attention to detail.
• Strong proficiency in presentation development (PowerPoint), design and preparation.
• Political acumen, strong interest in national security cooperation and integrated strategic deterrence.
• Proficiency in research and analysis.
• Self-starter who can independently accomplish tasks; is proactive, flexible and takes initiative.
• The ability to multi-task and work well in a high-intensity environment.
• Budget management
Desired Skills:• Minimum of 5 years space program experience and working-level technical expertise in multiple major space mission areas.
• Demonstrated understanding and experience with Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS), DoD and IC acquisition processes, and the DoD and IC budget and strategy processes.
• Demonstrated understanding of Washington DC interagency processes, equities, and players and how they impact Lockheed Martin programs and opportunities.
• Prior experience and/or familiarity working with external customers.
• Prior experience with business development, industrial participation, and/or strategy.
• Proficiency in SharePoint, Box, Excel and other technical skills.
• Masters Degree

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
