Who we're looking for
Toyota’s Compensation Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Compensation Manager. The primary responsibility of this role is to design, implement and manage Toyota North America’s compensation programs to attract, motivate and retain employees.
Reporting to the Sr Manager, Compensation, the person in this role will support the Compensation department's objective to develop and deliver market-driven compensation solutions that drive employee performance, engagement and support long-term organizational success.
What you’ll be doing
•Develop and implement compensation programs including, but not limited to, base pay and incentive plans.
•Lead and manage compensation-related projects and strategic initiatives
•Conduct market benchmarking and job evaluations to ensure competitive compensation programs
•Lead, mentor and coach a team of Compensation Analysts
•Collaborate with HR, finance and business leaders to align compensation strategies with short and long term organizational goals and objectives
What you bring
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or related field, or equivalent years of work experience
• 7+ years of proven experience in a HR management role.
• 5+ years of experience within a compensation management role
• Strong knowledge of compensation principles, practices and legal requirements.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel with experience analyzing and modeling data
• Proven ability to maintain data privacy and handle confidential information

• Certified Compensation Professional
• Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment
