Develops, designs, models, and tests radio frequency transmitters and receiver circuit subsystems. Works on multi-disciplinary teams responsible for integrated product designs including radio propagation modeling and prediction, microwave path analysis, interference analysis, frequency coordination, cell site equipment layout, parameter definition and ancillary equipment.
The incumbent will be working onsite at our Holtsville, NY.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting engineering in development and testing of radio frequency transmitters and receiver circuit subsystems.
- Working with multi-disciplinary teams responsible for integrated product designs including radio propagation modeling, microwave path and interference analysis, frequency coordination, and utilization of Next Gen 5G RF equipment and OTA test chambers.
- Establishes requirements for less complex design projects
- Works on Completing all phases of RF engineering design projects
- Works on analysis of processes and delivers results to necessary stakeholders
- Analyzes results and recommends solutions
- Works on developing expected results on a variety of products
- Develops documentation for new projects and reviews previous results
- Works with latest technologies and new approaches
- Reviews changes or upgrades to existing designs or test
- Exercises judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions on assignments
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS degree in Engineering with 1+ year experience in engineering.
- Knowledge of Antenna design principals and various RF technologies like WWAN/BLE/Wi-Fi/LoRa/GPS.
- Familiarity with VNA’s, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, RF Power Meters, Network Analyzer measurements, Soldering, DMM, R&S callboxes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior internship or work experience with Zebra Technologies.
- Experience in MATLAB, Cadence or Allegro
- Exposure to WaveStudio is highly desired.

Salary: USD 67000.00 - USD 100600.00 Yearly
Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
