Role & Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain operating systems including Windows, Linux, and UNIX environments.
- Oversee system architecture design and implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Administer databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Implement and manage RAID controllers for data redundancy and performance optimization.
- Develop and maintain service-oriented architectures (SOA) and microservices.
- Utilize cloud services such as AWS and Azure for scalable solutions.
- Configure load balancing solutions to enhance application performance.
- Ensure network security through the management of firewalls, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and other security protocols.
- Collaborate with development teams using Agile methodologies to support the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Automate deployment processes using CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Git.
- Conduct systems engineering tasks including virtualization with VMware and Kubernetes.
- Write scripts in Bash (Unix shell), Python, or JavaScript to automate routine tasks.
- Monitor system performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
