The Lockheed Martin FBM Program is seeking an experienced and skilled Project Engineer to join our Documentation Change Control team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The candidate will also be responsible for reviewing changes to fleet and facility documentation for accuracy and completeness, coordinating with other stakeholders, and ensuring on time change processing
This role will require strong technical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Develop and maintain project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and test, to ensure that projects are properly planned and executed.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with projects, including technical, schedule, and budget risks.
• Develop and maintain project status reports, including progress, issues, and risks.
• Collaborate with other integrated product teams to ensure that projects are aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
Basic Qualifications:• Experience reading, writing, and reviewing work elements/instructions, manufacturing processing requirements/documentation, and maintenance requirements/documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to work with technical leads to manage cost, schedule, and technical scope.
Desired Skills:• Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering
• Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very sophisticated problems and implement constructive change
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience using Confluence, JIRA, or Version 1 or similar tools for project planning and tracking
• Experience throughout the engineering lifecycle (system definition, design, build, test, and operational deployment)
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks associated with projects.
• Excellent presentation skills
• Excellent organizational skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
