Supply Chain Planner for Logistics
Job Summary
The SC Logistics Planner role is responsible for developing and maintaining the capacity plan for Logistics to align with organizational strategic objectives. The SC logistic Planner works cross-functionally with key departments to ensure seamless operational execution.
This role is responsible to help to build and implement a Plan for Logistics strategy. This role will be responsible to work cross-functionally to help build forecasting tools from manufacturing and planning data to drive improvements and accuracy in DC inventory capacity modeling, inbound and outbound transportation capacity planning and air/ocean mode of transportation compliance.
The outcomes from the processes and capabilities built by this role will help build/mature network resilience, financial accuracy, DC labor planning and transportation capacity planning.
Responsibilities
Design, and implement Logistics Capacity tools and processes
Perform capacity modeling and scenario planning to recommend improvements in network efficiency, asset utilization, and capital investments
Serve as a subject matter expert and key contributor to the enhancement of supply planning systems as part of the company’s digital strategy
Develop analytical tools and dashboards to enhance planning accuracy and team efficiency
Define and track KPIs to assess supply plan effectiveness (utilization, capacity vs. plan, etc.)
Facilitate Capacity planning meetings and ensure alignment across departments (Operations, Logistics, Planning, Marketing,)
Apply change management principles to successfully drive process and system improvements
Work with partner teams across various HP functions such as transportation, planning, fulfillment, finance, category, manufacturing and customer operations.
Leverage historical data to create forward looking planning models to integrate in partnership with business teams
Utilize problem-solving skills to work through difficult challenges
Provide forecast and work with downstream & upstream stakeholders to plan for capacity, measure accuracy and improve forecast logic
Recommend process/analytics automation opportunities
Recommends cross-functional process and data improvement opportunities to improve outcomes and accuracy
Proactively monitor DC inventory capacity levels to identify risks and work with appropriate teams to recommend solutions and/or forecast glidepaths for recovery to target levels
Supports Total Customer Experience (TCE) activities, causals, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives
Education & Experience Recommended
Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in procurement, supply chain, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.

Impacts multiple teams and may act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process.
Complexity
Responds to moderately complex issues within established guidelines.

Salary:
The pay range for this role is $65,450 to $93,000 USD annually with additional
opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United
States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related
knowledge, skills, and experience.
