What you’ll do
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their inquiries and purchases.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling transactions with accuracy and professionalism.
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits, driving customer interest and sales.
- Utilize your supervising experience to guide new team members and ensure smooth daily operations.
- Implement effective merchandising strategies to create attractive displays that enhance the shopping experience.
- Maintain stock levels by replenishing shelves and organizing inventory to ensure product availability.
- Execute upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Exhibit strong phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries or concerns over the phone.
Experience
- Proven experience in retail sales, showcasing your ability to connect with customers and drive sales results.
- Strong communication skills that enable you to engage effectively with both customers and team members.
- Familiarity with basic math principles for cash handling and retail math applications.
- Experience in cashiering roles, demonstrating reliability in processing transactions accurately.
- Bilingual skills are a plus, allowing you to assist a wider range of customers effectively.
- Knowledge of grocery store operations is preferred, enhancing your understanding of our products and services.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
