Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detailed Assistant Finance Manager to join our Vision Care Business Unit Finance (BUF) team in India. This role is essential in delivering financial planning perfection, encouraging strong business partnerships, and ensuring compliance with internal controls. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities, eye for business, and a collaborative approach to support strategic decision-making and drive financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning
- Deliver compliant financial planning and reporting to meet or exceed expectations on Net Trade Sales, Net Income, and Free Cash Flow.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain) during the IBP process to validate and challenge business assumptions, enhance forecast accuracy, and develop alternative solutions.
- Lead official forecast cycles in partnership with commercial teams, including calendar management.
- Ensure timely and accurate submissions of all Regional FP&A and other requests, supported by high-quality commentary.
Business Partnering
- Act as a strategic bridge between Finance and the Business Unit, translating financial insights into actionable business strategies.
- Manage Commercial OPEX (BME and SG&A) budgeting and tracking, ensuring optimal resource allocation aligned with strategic goals.
- Support pricing activities including product pricing, promotional analysis, and NPI launch evaluations to maintain healthy margins and market competitiveness.
- Conduct Key Account Reviews with the commercial team as needed.
- Partner with Supply Chain and Demand Planning teams on LCM and portfolio simplification initiatives to reduce SLOB and DOS through improved forecast accuracy and inventory management.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and scenario planning to support business needs and competitive assessments.
Risk Management & Compliance
- Own the Quarterly Key Control Checklist (KCC) and execute all relevant compliance activities, including SOP updates, process reviews, and threshold analysis.
- Lead and advise the business on Finance compliance matters, ensuring adherence to internal controls and regulatory standards.

Qualification: CA with a minimum experience of 5 years working in Financial Planning, Business Partnering and Risk Mgmt and Compliance.
