Project Manager
Job Description:
-Leads all aspects of project administration including, responsibility for knowledge of and adherence to contract penalty clauses and / or liquidated damages, analyzing reporting to identify project deficiencies and provides guidance on corrective actions, managing projects to business compliance, project documentation, safety guidelines, and maneuvering through governing agencies requirements.
-Communicate with customers, suppliers, sub-contractors and field support teams (techs) effectively. Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and developing communication plans with both internal and external stakeholders to provide timely project updates
-Deliver projects secured by Product Sales Team and Service Sales Team, ensuring projects are delivered on time and budget
-Financially manages all aspects of projects including cash flow, monthly forecasted cost / revenue, forecasted cost at completion, monitoring expenses, collections support, applied cost, and oversees preparation and communications for monthly backlog review with leaders.
-Validate project scope, cost, schedule by reviewing contract documents, holding internal meetings and establishing customer expectations, and identify risks and developing mitigation plans
-Scheduling and coordination with technicians.Oversees subcontractor RFQ process, manages subcontractor execution, and collaborates with subcontractors to establish communication guidelines for project progress, project meetings, billing expectations and project safety.
-Communicate with customers, sub-contractors and field support teams (techs) effectively
-Monitor equipment, parts and sub-contracting works ordering process and ensure project compliance
-Maintain cost accuracy and control project budgets.Preparing variation costs for submission to customer and progress to approval
-Create comprehensive project schedules with tasks and milestones
-Will require to attend site for inspections, meetings (including online) and delivering parts to customer/techs frequently.Inspect/receive equipment at warehouses across within the region.
-Provide reports to Sales team and manager on project progress
-Liaise with Technical Support Manager on a large project delivery and allocate resources accordingly
-Developing and implementing processes and systems in compliance with EHS
-Work with Service Sales Engineer on customer facing tasks including meetings and documentation for control projects delivery
-Assist with control pricing for product sales team and service projects (if required)
- General tasks as required
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Minimum five years’ experience in project management, controls and HVAC related field.
•Experienced and knowledgeable in contracting processes associated with the installation of building automation systems and managing subcontractors preferred.
•Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations included, but not limited to:DUI in the previous 5 years; Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
