Job Summary:
This role will play a critical role in delivering strategic business projects and driving efficiency through the accounting and finance organization. This role will demonstrate strong leadership skills and an ability to influence and collaborate with cross functional teams to enable timely and successful implementation of strategic projects with efficient and accurate accounting processes. He/she will also have a lean mindset with the ability to identify opportunities to eliminate waste from processes and coach others to solve problems.

Where is the work:

What you will do:
- Support global strategic projects that impact accounting systems or processes by:
- Reviewing and identifying enterprise, business, or functional projects that need to include accounting as a key stakeholder
- Managing workplans for each project by identifying tasks, assigning owners, developing a timeline, and holding owners accountable to it
- Participating in meetings with project teams, representing Record to Report team needs and being accountable for deliverables
- Providing periodic updates to accounting and business leadership on project developments and escalating issues when needed with insightful analysis
- Documenting future state processes, such as process flow diagrams and standard work
- Assisting with compliance activities, including control design assessments and coordination with internal or external audit teams
- Developing and delivering training to Record to Report and business finance teams
- Serve as a transformation leader for the accounting organization:
- Identify efficiency opportunities using lean principles and techniques
- Coach members across the accounting organization to solve problems and eliminate waste
- Lead a cross-regional team to deliver the responsibilities above:
- Prioritize projects, monitor progress, and optimize results
- Provide coaching and career development
What you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify and resolve operational issues
- 10+ years in a finance or accounting role, with experience in change management and leading through organizational transformations; Experience with Oracle R12 general ledger is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams
- Detail oriented with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results within defined timelines
- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Knowledge of lean principles and ability to coach others on problem-solving techniques
- Experienced people leader and ability to grow and develop talent
Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $
Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, and geographic location where the work is performed.
