Floor Technician to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of flooring surfaces in a pharmaceutical facility. This role is responsible for performing specialized floor care tasks including stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning, while ensuring compliance with site safety and sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform floor care duties such as:
- Stripping, waxing, and buffing hard surface floors
- Carpet extraction and spot cleaning
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming as needed
- Operate and maintain floor care equipment (e.g., auto scrubbers, burnishers, extractors)
- Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate PPE
- Ensure proper signage is used during floor care activities to prevent slip hazards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of janitorial closets and equipment
- Report any floor damage or maintenance issues to the supervisor
- Assist with general cleaning tasks as needed in non-GMP areas
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in floor care or janitorial services using floor care machines
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Familiarity with floor care equipment and cleaning chemicals
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Must adhere to all site safety and security protocols
Work Environment:
- Work is performed in non-GMP areas of a pharmaceutical facility
- May involve exposure to cleaning chemicals, noise, and moving equipment
- PPE may be required depending on the task and area
