Position Overview
The Senior Manager, Enterprise Collections Strategy will lead the development and execution of enterprise-wide collections strategies to maximize cash flow and improve overall receivables performance. This role is responsible for overseeing collections operations, partnering closely with Operations and Finance teams, and serving as a key liaison with FP&A to ensure cash flow targets are achieved. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in collections management, process optimization, and data-driven decision-making, with strong relationship-building and influencing skills to drive strategic outcomes across the organization. Experience with Oracle Advanced Collections is essential to effectively design, implement, and optimize enterprise collections practices.

Key Responsibilities
Collections Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement the enterprise collections strategy to optimize cash collections and minimize past-due balances.
- Drive consistency and standardization across collections practices, policies, and procedures.
- Leverage Oracle Advanced Collections functionality to manage, monitor, and improve collections processes.
- Use data analytics to monitor collections performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
- Ensure alignment of collections strategy with broader business and financial objectives.
Operations Leadership & Influence
- Partner with Operations leaders to embed collections strategies into day-to-day business processes.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with stakeholders across Operations to influence behaviors that support improved payment performance and dispute resolution.
- Act as a change champion, guiding Operations teams toward shared accountability for receivables outcomes.
FP&A Partnership
- Serve as a strategic liaison with FP&A, ensuring accurate cash flow forecasting and alignment with collections outcomes.
- Provide insights into collections performance and risks that may impact financial planning.
- Support scenario modeling and business planning through collections data and analysis.
Stakeholder Engagement & Governance
- Collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Customer Support teams to resolve escalated collections issues.
- Drive governance and compliance across collections activities, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Present collections strategy updates, performance results, and improvement initiatives to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in collections management, credit risk, or financial operations, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience designing and executing enterprise-level collections strategies.
- Hands-on expertise with Oracle Advanced Collections (required).
- Strong financial acumen, with deep knowledge of cash flow management and forecasting.
- Proficiency with ERP/financial systems (e.g., Oracle Financials, SAP, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel/analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong cross-functional partnerships.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies and technology enablement for collections is a plus.
