Lockheed Martin (LM) Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) is looking for engineering professionals to work on the Trusted Security Solutions (TSS) program to engineer Cross-Domain Solution (CDS) products. This position is for a Systems Engineer/Installer on the Radiant Mercury product within the TSS program. Radiant Mercury is the US Navy's premier CDS product and LM has been the prime contractor for over 20 years.

WHO YOU AREThe Radiant Mercury (RM) program is looking for systems engineering professionals to work on Cross-Domain Solution (CDS) products that protect and defend the information flow of critical and time sensitive data on many military applications and networks.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background on Software development programs, a willingness to learn new technologies, and be able to support all phases of the CDS development, configuration, and deployment process.
• You should be a well-rounded production engineer that has experience with hardware, networking, software deployment, and system administration.
• You will collaborate closely with project management, systems engineers, systems integration and test engineers as well as software engineers to coordinate various types of tasks.
• You should expect to learn necessary skills through hands on experiences and should work well in a team.
• You will travel frequently to customer sites and be “the face of the program” to the customer; ensuring system deployments and security evaluations go smoothly.
• If selected, you will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
THE WORKThe primary work location is at the Deer Creek Facility (DCF) in Littleton, Colorado with limited ability to work remotely. The candidate will primarily be required to come into the office or travel to customer sites to conduct their work. Responsibilities for the role include:
• Ensure cyber security standards are met and implemented through the successful deployment of the RM product to customer sites (installation, integration, accreditation, training, and documentation).
• Perform hardware development, factory buildup, and checkout for the CDS product prior to deployment to site
• Understand customer needs/requirements and develop rule sets to be implemented on the CDS that meet customer needs/requirements
• Assist with infrastructure maintenance tasks as well as provide technical assistance to team members and customers through the program help desk
• Work in an agile development environment on RedHat Linux-based OS and support elements of design/sustainment/development efforts.
• Report to the Deer Creek facility with limited ability to work remotely. Members of the production team are expected to travel at a minimum 50% of the time, with regular travel up to 80% of the time.
• Production team members are also expected to be available for emergency trips to support customer operational needs.
Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, a Master's degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Willingness to support regular travel to customer sites to perform installation, integration, accreditation, training, and documentation tasks
• Experience using Red Hat Enterprise Linux
• Ability to learn necessary skills through hands on experiences
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail; Quick thinker, fast learner/Proactive, problem solver, creative, critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and build consensus among stakeholders
• Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
Desired Skills:• Understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle, including principles, processes, and methodologies
• Understanding of requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation
• Understanding of software design and software/system architecture

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $60,200 - $106,030. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
