What you will do:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery to ensure efficient production processes. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality
- Set up machines according to specifications and ensure they are running efficiently.
- Monitor machine operations to detect any malfunctions or irregularities.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues to minimize downtime.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate production records and logs.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
What you will bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as blueprints and schematics.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.
Key Competencies:
· Proficiency in operating and maintaining various types of machinery.
· Understanding of machine setup, calibration, and troubleshooting.
· Ability to monitor machine operations closely to detect malfunctions or irregularities.
Commitment to wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safety procedures.
