This role ensures digital product initiatives are strategically aligned, well-governed, and executed to plan across R&D, SC, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, IT, and Commercial functions. Additionally, this Senior Manager acts as the connective tissue between technical delivery and business value, driving program visibility, accountability, and readiness from concept through commercialization.

Program Leadership & Execution
Lead the end-to-end delivery of digital programs within the PMO framework, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, scope, timeline, and budget.
Manage cross-functional workstreams spanning software development, systems engineering, data science, cybersecurity, and user experience.
Coordinate program activities across R&D, SC, Regulatory, Quality, Clinical, and Commercial to ensure integration and compliance.
Facilitate stage-gate reviews and ensure programs adhere to design control and software lifecycle standards.
Governance & Reporting
Maintain clear visibility of program status, risks, dependencies, and deliverables through PMO dashboards and performance metrics.
Lead governance meetings, executive updates, and decision reviews, ensuring timely escalation and issue resolution.
Ensure adherence to PMO processes, portfolio prioritization, and documentation standards.
Cross-Functional Alignment
Partner closely with R&D to align technical development roadmaps with business needs and regulatory strategy.
Collaborate with Regulatory and Quality to ensure digital product compliance with FDA, EU MDR, and software as a medical device (SaMD) standards.
Coordinate with Commercial and Marketing teams to align product launch timelines, training, and go-to-market readiness.
Engage Supply Chain and IT functions where relevant for connected device infrastructure, manufacturing readiness, and data security integration.
Risk, Change, and Dependency Management
Identify and proactively manage program risks, interdependencies, and resource conflicts.
Implement effective change control processes across the digital product lifecycle.
Anticipate potential barriers to delivery and develop mitigation and contingency plans to reduce risk exposure and improve readiness at key development milestones.
Continuous Improvement
Drive process excellence within digital product development — leveraging PMO tools, agile principles, and digital product best practices.
Contribute to PMO knowledge sharing and maturity growth, helping standardize hybrid (Agile/Waterfall) delivery models for digital initiatives.
Support performance and value tracking for digital program investments, measuring contribution of digital programs to business objectives and customer value.
