In this role, you will:- Support Mid-Corporate Relationship Managers (RMs) in attracting, growing, and retaining client relationships.
- Prepare client data, pitch books, and presentation materials for meetings and internal discussions.
- Assist with client calls through pre-call planning, note-taking, and post-call follow-up.
- Maintain regular portfolio reviews with RMs; track opportunities, manage workload across multiple transactions, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Engage product partners to deliver tailored solutions based on client needs, industry trends, and financial analysis.
- Coordinate with Credit, Operations, PES and other internal teams on screening, annual reviews, renewals, financial analysis and deal closings to ensure smooth execution of transactions.
- Manage client administration, including account openings, service coordination, and issue resolution.
- Handle Treasury Management and deposit requests; ensure timely approvals.
- Support compliance activities including audits, adherence to internal policies, and regulatory reviews.
- Represent Wells Fargo in the marketplace through community engagement and networking.
- Assist in structuring and renewing complex transactions; analyze financials and collaborate with senior peers.
- Lead or resolve complex initiatives within Relationship Management; ensure compliance with policies.
- Utilize systems and dashboards for data-driven relationship planning and strategy.
- Partner with Business Development Representatives to source new clients.
- Share earnings call summaries and investor prep materials internally.
- Identify cross-sell opportunities from client and partner interactions.
- Uphold Wells Fargo's vision, values, and disciplined sales practices.
- Ensure proper task ownership across risk, compliance, and product teams.
Required Qualifications:- 4+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:- In-depth knowledge of core banking products and services, including commercial lending and treasury management
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Commercial Banking or Corporate & Investment Banking
- Proven experience managing commercial banking relationships within the Mid-Corporate segment
- Completion of a formal credit training program
- Track record of collaborating across teams to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients and prospects
- Demonstrated ability to generate new relationships and build long-term client partnerships
- Skilled in identifying and mitigating risk while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
- Strong accounting and financial analysis skills with the ability to interpret financial statements
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
- Highly collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills and managing multiple priorities
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
