About this role:The Global Markets Macro COO is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the operational, financial, and strategic management of the Rates and Foreign Exchange (FX) businesses within the Global Markets division. This role ensures the efficient execution of business strategies, risk management, regulatory compliance, and infrastructure optimization across trading, sales, and support functions.
Key Responsibilities:- Partner with business heads to define and execute strategic plans for Rates and FX.
- Drive performance monitoring, business analytics, and reporting for senior management.
- Lead initiatives to expand product offerings and market share in Rates and FX.
- Support ALCO (Asset and Liability Committee) with technical input on interest rate and FX pricing, mismatch limits, and liquidity planning.
- Manage day-to-day operations across trading desks, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Oversee infrastructure, systems, and processes to support front office activities.
- Ensure optimal resource utilization and cost containment across the division.
- Monitor and manage market, credit, and operational risks within approved limits.
- Ensure full compliance with internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and audit standards.
- Lead initiatives to improve risk controls and governance frameworks.
- Act as the primary liaison between front office and corporate functions (Finance, Risk, Technology, Operations).
- Represent the Rates and FX business in cross-functional forums and regulatory interactions.
- Drive collaboration across global teams to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Build and lead high-performing teams across geographies.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Support talent development and succession planning.
Required Qualifications:- 8+ years of corporate & investment banking business management or leadership experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of management or leadership experience
- 8+ years Rates and/or Foreign Exchange (FX) experience
- Ability to travel as needed
- Willingness to work on-site in accordance with current office requirements
- Ability to work additional hours as needed
- This position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements. Candidates must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to hire. Successful candidates must also meet and comply with ongoing regulatory obligations, which include periodic screening and mandatory reporting of certain incidents.

Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$250,000.00 - $420,000.00
