Overview
The Janitorial Project Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of janitorial services for assigned facilities or accounts. This role ensures high-quality cleaning standards, manages staff, and maintains strong client relationships while meeting budget and compliance requirements.
Compensation: $58,000.00-$61,000.00 annual salary (US Dollars)
The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. You may be eligible to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program
401(k) – You become eligible to make personal contributions beginning the first of the month following 30 days of employment. You become eligible for the ABM match beginning the first of the month following six months of employment. ABM matches your pre-tax and/or Roth contributions, dollar for dollar, for the first 3%. For the next 2%, ABM contributes $0.50 for each dollar you contribute. Your contributions and match are immediately vested.

Key Responsibilities: - Operational Management: Supervise daily janitorial operations at assigned sites, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met.
- Team Leadership: Hire, train, schedule, and manage janitorial staff; handle performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
- Client Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company standards and client requirements.
- Administrative Duties: Manage payroll, scheduling, and inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Budget Oversight: Monitor expenses and ensure operations stay within budget.
- Emergency Response: Provide after-hours support for urgent issues or emergencies.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety regulations, company policies, and applicable laws.
Qualifications: - Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in janitorial or facilities management, with supervisory experience.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling software
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and safety standards
Preferred: - Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- PMP certification or similar project management training
- Experience managing multiple sites or large teams
