Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC)
is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Associate to
support the Machining Operations Center (MOC)
located within our Orlando, FL campus. The MOC
specializes in producing ultra-precision machined
components that are the foundation of infrared
and electro-optical targeting systems used
primarily for defense applications.
Responsibilities may include one or more of the following:
- Create work instructions detailing the
appropriate equipment, methods, special
processes, tools and fixturing required to
manufacture our complex components.
- Design of special tools and fixtures required to
support manufacturing.
- Provide manufacturing floor support to resolve
technical and manufacturing issues.
- Perform Root Cause analysis and implement
effective Corrective Action to address quality
related issues.
- Investigate, propose, and implement
technology to reduce costs and/or improve
quality.
- Utilize CAM software for CNC programming
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree from an accredited college in Manufacturing Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering degree
• Experience using CAD Software
• Must have the ability to obtain facility access.
Desired Skills:• Experience with CNC Machines
• Experience with G-code
• Experience with CAM
• Experience with 2D drawings along with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
