Description:The successful candidate will serve as staff support to the U-2 Program Office supporting the U-2 Program. The candidate will report directly to the U-2 Deputy Program Manager and will build breadth in the areas of technology, program management, planning, execution, and communications. The candidate will work with assigned program managers and functional leads across three value streams that are comprised of Depot, Sustainment and Modernization portfolio to provide support for project and program success. The candidate will also support the continuous improvement of the U-2 Program business rhythms by facilitating the execution of program business meetings. Assist leadership in balancing cost, schedule, risks/opportunities, and other program execution imperatives. Proactively expand knowledge base to include tactical and strategic program management fundamentals including performance measurement and earned value management. Find innovative ways to support and drive execution on the program. Create multi-media based briefings and talking points for program-level reviews with Lockheed Martin leadership and government leadership on behalf of the U-2 Director and Deputy Director. Track action items to completion, and provide program-level data including metrics to support staffing metrics, program and project performance metrics. In addition, the candidate will take on and lead special projects that support the overall program teams and can be tailored to the individual's development plan.
Basic Qualifications:
o Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited college
o Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with a focus on Excel

o 6 years of professional experience with Technology development and implementation
o 4 years of professional experience with master’s degree
o Demonstrated ability to critically think and drive creative solutions to complex problems
o Strong interpersonal skills.

o Highly organized, efficient, action/detail-oriented with proven ability to deliver results and remove obstacles
o Experience working with Lockheed Martin customers and associate contractors
o Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize according to the needs of the program under shortened time constraints, as well as, managing multiple competing priorities.
o Self-starter who must be able to operate independently with minimal direction/oversight and deliver high-quality results in an efficient manner
o Ideal candidate will have program integration experience

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $77,700 - $136,965. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
