The Enterprise Data Steward for SAP Vendor Domain is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and governance of vendor master data across J&J systems.
This role serves as the subject matter expert for vendor data, driving data quality initiatives, compliance with global standards, and alignment with business and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Master Data Governance: Define and enforce policies, standards, and procedures for vendor data creation, maintenance, and deactivation in SAP.
Data Quality Management: Define and implement data quality tests based on established data standards and business rules. Monitor and improve data quality through profiling, cleansing, and validation activities. Collaborate with business units to resolve data issues.
SAP Stewardship: Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT for vendor data-related SAP enhancements. Define system configurations, requirements for integrations, and data migrations rules from legacy systems.
Metadata & Lineage Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of vendor data definitions, lineage, and usage across systems.
Compliance & Risk Mitigation: Ensure vendor data complies with internal controls, audit requirements, and external regulations (e.g., SOX, GDPR).
Collaboration & Training: Partner with procurement, finance, and compliance teams to align vendor data practices. Develop training materials, deliver training, and provide ongoing support to system users and data entry teams.
Continuous Improvement: Support business and IT teams to improve efficiency of established business processes.

Required:
8-10 years of Data experience is required; Experience in Supply Chain preferred
A minimum of 5 years of data management experience in the context of leading and running the implementation of large programs.
Demonstrable ability to work in multi-functional and cross-company teams, fostering collaboration and alignment. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Skilled at eliciting business needs through effective questioning, listening, and translating those into technical requirements.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills to lead change and drive adoption across diverse partner groups.
Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives within timelines, where priorities change rapidly.
Strong conflict resolution and consensus-building skills.
Preferred:
Deep technical understanding of Vendor Master Data and its governance across enterprise systems.
Proven experience in SAP vendor master data management or data stewardship roles
Strong understanding of SAP ECC/S4 HANA vendor data structures and processes

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$100,000- $173,500
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year.
