About the role:
As the Director of Talent Acquisition for the Power & Energy segment at Caterpillar, you will lead the team of global recruiters tasked with attracting top talent to Caterpillar – ensuring Caterpillar has the right talent, with the right future-focused skills to deliver on our strategy, at the right time. This position designs and executes industry leading strategies to attract and engage transformative talent across the portfolio of businesses in the Power & Energy segment including, engine manufacturing, oil & gas, remanufacturing, electric power and electrification.
What You Will Do:
- Lead a talent acquisition organization focused on delivering top quality talent to hiring leaders across 6 divisions while enhancing recruitment strategies and team capabilities
- Serve as a thought leader for talent acquisition programs and technology; provide advice and support to business and HR leaders, solve talent acquisition related problems
- Ensure effectiveness of talent acquisition programs by providing feedback to partners on process, program, practice, and system design
- Remain nimble to adjust team focus based on business demand and OPACC opportunity while maintaining a focus on top talent for Caterpillar
- Planning programs and setting goals to strategically address the organization's current and future workforce needs, consulting on recruiting and staff allocation issues to departments
- Develop the talent acquisition workforce to deliver on talent commitments to support the Enterprise strategy
Skills Required:
- Influencing: Extensive knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.
- Leadership: Experience leading teams, proven ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing, and achieving objectives while having a long-term perspective of the future state of things and how to get there.
- Staffing & Recruiting: Knowledge of best-in-class processes, techniques and methods used in talent acquisition; ability to identify, select, retain, and relocate talent for a wide range of positions.
- Customer & Market Focus: Understands the importance of remaining aware of shifting market priorities and can respond to internal and external customer needs in a manner that consistently adds value.
- Workforce Analytics: Possesses knowledge of human resources (HR) and workforce issues and trends; ability to analyze data, information and metrics and bring insights while applying the results to support business decisions.

Summary Pay Range:
$169,320.00 - $253,920.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
