We are seeking a highly organized and professional Executive Assistant to support the UHG Deputy Chief Security Officer (Deputy CSO). The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational abilities, personnel management skills, keen attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities - all within the realm of a fast-paced environment. This role requires a high level of discretion and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity. The ideal candidate will have experience working with security leadership in either the private or public sector.
This role involves working directly with the Deputy CSO and other members of the Enterprise Security Resilience Office (ESRO) Executive Leadership Team.
If you are located in the Washington, DC Area, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Liaison between Executive Assistants across the enterprise with appropriate professional written and oral communications
- Manage all aspects of the Deputy CSO's calendar, including scheduling meetings and accepting / declining meetings from the enterprise
- Coordinate and schedule travel arrangements through UHG's travel platform within compliance
- Complete expense reports following travel arrangements within the appropriate timeline to meet UHG's travel and expense policy
- Organize and prepare materials for meetings, including agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions. Ensuring the Deputy CSO is well-prepared for all engagements
- Support the Deputy CSO's Chief of Staff in organizing and coordinating events, meetings, and conferences, including logistics such as meeting spaces and meal purchases
- Maintain and organize important records and files related to the office of the Deputy CSO
- Assist in special projects and initiatives led by the Deputy CSO's Chief of Staff, ensuring timely completion and adherence to objectives
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
- Identify and resolve administrative issues proactively to support the smooth operations of the Deputy CSO's office
- Coordinating with the Office of the Deputy CSO's staff and their respective Senior Administrative Assistants

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of administrative experience supporting c-suite level executives
- Background in the security industry, including physical or cyber security
- Proven ability to assist multiple leaders effectively
- Solid business acumen with a successful history of supporting diverse leadership teams

- Solid capacity to prioritize tasks and handle ambiguity when necessary

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $23.41 to $41.83 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
