About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Securities Operations Manager as part of the Trade Settlement team within Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) Operations. This team is responsible for operations-related functions for securities settlement related to brokerage and trust accounts for Wealth and Investment Management clients.

In this role, you will:- Manage team of alternative investment operations managers and analysts
- Provide accountability for the development of operational strategy and may serve on line of business project teams
- Develop the operational infrastructure on financial accounting, tax reporting and client services
- Perform specific duties including accurate financial reporting of funds, sourcing of proprietary fund vendors, and ensuring operational due diligence of external investment managers
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and risk control development
- Ensure effective operational due diligence of external investment managers
- Manage administration of third party distribution of alternative investments through wealth and brokerage divisions
- Make decisions and resolve issues regarding company wide tasks that steer the company's operational direction
- Develop policies and procedures for functions with low to moderate complexity within scope of responsibility
- Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managers
- Lead team to achieve objectives
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for securities operations
- Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
Required Qualifications:- 4+ years of Securities Operations experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:- 4+ years of Brokerage and/or Trust operations experience
- 2+ years experience with trade settlements or mutual funds processing
- Demonstrated experience setting up new teams, partnering with leaders during transitions and supporting employees through onboarding and training
- Solid budget and financial management skills, including resource management
- Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to proactively identify and execute actions to improve business processes
- Ability to develop innovative approaches to complex business issues with the ability to clearly express ideas and concepts to associates and other stakeholders
- Ability to develop and utilize key measurements to provide oversight of effective business process execution
- Experience with trust and brokerage systems, including Trust SEI 3000 and Beta platform for trust accounting, administration, and fiduciary operations
Job Expectations:- Ability to work a hybrid in-office schedule

- US only: Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. FINRA Series 99 examination, or equivalent must be completed within either a 120-day time period following commencement of employment, if not immediately available to transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted. This will be communicated at time of offer acceptance. Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatory. In addition to state registration and licensing requirements, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA licensing review process at the time of offer acceptance. For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite is required

$110,000.00 - $179,000.00
