We partner with major carriers, including RXO, JB Hunt, Ryder Last Mile, CRST, Riverstone, and R.A.S., running dedicated routes for national retailers like Lowe’s, Home Depot, Wayfair, IKEA, and Bob’s Furniture — as well as container and port operations out of Newark, NJ.
We’re seeking experienced trucking recruiters to help us continuously source and onboard qualified CDL-A drivers, local port drivers, last-mile teams, and owner-operators for multiple contracts and fleet types
Position Overview:
As a Remote Recruiter, you’ll manage the full recruiting cycle — from sourcing and interviewing drivers to assisting with onboarding and compliance verification.
Your focus will include building pipelines for:
- OTR & Regional CDL-A Drivers (Dry Van & Sleeper)
- Port Drayage Drivers (Newark, NJ – local container work)
- Last-Mile Delivery Teams (Box truck & helper crews for furniture/appliance delivery)
- Owner-Operators with their own power units for port and local runs
Compensation:
- $400–$600 per driver/owner-operator successfully onboarded
- Paid weekly once driver completes onboarding and starts running loads
- Top recruiters average $1,200–$3,600+ weekly recruiting 2–6 drivers consistently
Responsibilities:
- Recruit CDL-A port drivers and owner-operators for Newark, NJ port operations (TWIC, SCAC, and port badge familiarity preferred)
- Source OTR, regional, and last-mile drivers and teams across multiple states
- Post and manage ads on Indeed, Craigslist, Facebook, and other driver platforms
- Conduct screening calls and verify experience, work ethic, and equipment readiness
- Coordinate with our operations and compliance team to finalize onboarding paperwork
- Maintain a pipeline of ready-to-go drivers to fill urgent openings
- Track performance and replace underperforming drivers quickly to keep all trucks running
What you’ll do
- Coordinate and manage inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in maintaining accurate stock records.
- Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to optimize logistics operations.
- Utilize various software tools such as ATS (Applicant Tracking System) and HRIS (Human Resource Information System) for tracking shipments and managing data.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory and logistics processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Negotiate contracts with carriers and suppliers to secure favorable terms.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding logistics updates and issues.
- Assist in training new employees on logistics procedures and best practices.
Basic qualifications
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across teams.
- Proficient in using logistics software such as Salesforce, Workday, or similar platforms.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in trucking, logistics, or driver recruitment
- Knowledge of port operations, intermodal work, and TWIC requirements is a major plus
- Understanding of FMCSA compliance, MVR, and insurance verification
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet weekly placement targets
- Must be a U.S.-based 1099 contractor with reliable internet and phone access
