The Cloud Specialist Engineer will work closely with other cloud engineers and internal/external customers to provide and maintain cloud solutions. This position requires some hands technology experience and ability to test/validate, troubleshoot and implement solutions engineered by peers.

What you have
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Software Development, Cloud Engineering, or equivalent.
Minimum of 1 year technical experience with cloud support in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Provider (GCP).
1-2 years of Schwab technology domain experience gained as a current or recent contractor or emloyee
Preferred Qualifications
Experience or a working understanding of Cloud Provider Services in the areas of Database, Storage, AI/ML, and/or Middleware.
Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, Salt or similar automation tools are a benefit as all provisioning includes Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Familiarity with SCM and DevOps tool suites; examples include Git, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jenkins, Concourse etc.
Experience with operational processes to insure high availability and service of the entire technology stack
Experience with operational processes and documentation
Troubleshooting skills
Associate’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, related degree field OR related practical experience
Cloud Provider Certification is a plus
Experience in the Financial Services industry is a plus
