Position Overview
We are seeking a Technical Program Manager for Special Progams to lead and manage critical aspects of the Navy’s Synthetic Signature Generation (SSG) program. This role will focus on program management, coordination, and technical oversight of simulation and training systems for applications such as Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) and other Research and Development (R&D) initiatives.
As a Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing program deliverables, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, and driving the successful execution of complex projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, developers, and Navy stakeholders, to deliver innovative solutions that enhance the Navy’s training capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead program management efforts, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation, to ensure successful execution of Navy training system projects.
Establish annual program budgets with customer(s) and sponsor(s) and control current year execution to stay within scope, time and budget constraints.
Develop and maintain project schedules to include requirement definition, material procurement, development, integration, verification/validation testing, and delivery fielding.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage technical scope, risks, and deliverables.
Facilitate regular program reviews / meetings to track progress, identify program risks, address challenges, and ensure alignment with customer objectives.
Collaborate with Navy stakeholders to ensure program deliverables meet mission-critical requirements.
Support the development of innovative solutions that enhance the realism and effectiveness of Navy training systems.
Required Education
Required Experience
U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. Government granted security clearance. Interim Secret security clearance required to begin employment.
At least 5 years of experience managing projects related to the design, development, testing, and evaluation of complex Navy systems.
Proven experience leading technical teams and coordinating resources and schedules for complex projects.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and influence complex projects and products.
Desired Experience
Strong technical background related to software development and/or system integration.
Experience with Navy surface ship training systems, including acoustic and visual simulation technologies.
Familiarity with program management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Project.
Knowledge of Navy program office processes and procedures.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00
