Key Responsibilities
Core responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and facilitate pre-close meetings, quarterly balance sheet reviews, and financial statement reviews for the Finance Director (FD)
- Lead Budget vs Actuals creation, alignment, and commentary for approval
- Responsible for executing approvals for “actuals” submissions
- Analyse financial statements to ensure completeness, accuracy, and validity of numbers.
- Face of GS and Accounting Lead for actuals (US GAAP); be the bridge between Business Unit Finance (BUF) and GS Account to Report (A2R) Process teams
- Participate as a member of the local Finance Director’s leadership team; act as GS liaison at BUF LT meetings
- Foster an environment of teamwork, innovation and sharing ideas
- Influence and work closely with BUF, A2R, and other functions to achieve joint goals
- Lead or be part of GS process improvement and other global/local projects
- Provide support to resolve escalated A2R issues (US GAAP)
- Ensure SOX compliance for CFM processes
- Identify, quantify and communicate financial and operational risks and opportunities

Experience Required:
- 5 – 10 years job experience in different Finance Functions
- US GAAP reporting experience
- Prior managerial / supervisory experience is preferred
