In this role you may be expected to:
- Perform Very Early Hour Reliability (VEHR) testing
- Conduct Quality Investigations on component parts and root cause analysis on quality issues.
- Gather Fabrications weld defect data
- Develop and update successive checks and PQA checks for each area, including check sheets for the assembly line.
- Be accountable for Continuous Improvement Idea Reporting
- Catalogue quality issues into a computer system and flag defects for repair.
- Deliver quality support to the plant by creating and developing business plans for each manufacturing assembly area.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have 1 year of quality experience in a similar role
- Must have experience operating inspection equipment and gauges
- Must have intermediate proficiency (Basic skills/knowledge. Capable of functioning independently) in SAP software
- Must have intermediate proficiency (Basic skills/knowledge. Capable of functioning independently) in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Root Cause Analysis Experience
Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):
- Willing and able to sit/stand for prolonged periods
- Willing and able to perform repetitive operations
- Willing and able to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Willing and able to pass eye exam for visual weld inspection
Top candidates will also have:
- Previous audit experience
- Further education beyond high school
- Green Belt training
- ASQ certifications
- Blueprint reading experience
- Intermediate proficiency in PowerPoint
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Advanced Problem Solving/Troubleshooting Ability
- Meticulous and analytical nature
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Welding experience
- Machine equipment product knowledge-excavators and/or tractors
- BIQ Quality Alert Project Experience

2nd shift: *Monday-Friday, 3 pm-11:10 pm

Summary Pay Range:
$22.10 - $27.65
