Surgical Vision is recruiting for a Global Supply Manager, located in Limerick, Ireland.
Position Overview
In this role, you will have the outstanding opportunity to develop our Global Supply Planning team, optimizing the Supply Network Planning (SNP) and Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) processes to ensure flawless supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, and Regional Leadership to design and maintain fair, clear, and business aligned allocation logic.
- Translate allocation strategy into executable plans by region, market, and/or customer segments.
- Track weekly/monthly allocation adherence and identify variances against plan.
- Lead communications with regional teams and interested parties, ensuring allocation decisions are well understood and consistently applied.
- Proactively recommend adjustments to address supply shifts, urgent critical issues, or changing market dynamics.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track allocation performance, including supply gaps, fill rates, and plan adherence.
- Drive adherence to governance processes for allocation decision-making.
- Supports distribution planning, including further distribution between warehouse nodes, and redeployment of inventory to meet customer service goals.
- Participates in S&OP/IBP Process to provide clarity of risks and opportunities and drive E2E decisions.
- Develops actionable insights of analyses of trends and the competitive landscape to continually improve the organization's Supply Chain strategy.
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
- University bachelor's degree is required. MBA or equivalent experience.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
- 5-10 years of related experience leading planning teams.
- Experience with ERP (SAP/APO/SNP) ; Advanced Planning Systems (OMP).
Preferred:
- Green Belt Six Sigma Certifications & Supply Chain Certification desirable.
- Project Management Certification Preferred
Other:
- English Proficiency Required
- 10% Travel
