We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Contracts Leader to join the Strategic and Missile Defense Programs (SMD) line of business supporting a diverse and exciting portfolio that continues to expand. The Missile Defense Programs (MDP) Contracts Manager will lead a team of geographically dispersed contracts management professionals supporting existing and future contracts with domestic customers.

Basic Qualifications:- Leadership experience
- FAR / DFARS knowledge
- Experience working with Government Contracts or any other type of contracts
Desired Skills:- Experience with different Contract Types FFP or FPIF or CPAF or CPFF or T&M or any other contract types
- Leadership (management) experience
- 10 years or more of contracts management professional experience
- Ability to provide leadership, coaching, mentorship, and support to members of the team in a fast-paced environment
- Significant experience with USG procurement regulations in all aspects of the contract life cycle including proposals, administration, and close-out.
- Significant contracting or negotiation or management experience with or within various Government agencies
- Experience negotiating with both internal and external customers to support business objectives
- Significant experience with USG procurement regulations or FAR/DFARS and/or other transaction authority (OTAs) in all aspects of the contract life cycle

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
