What you will do:
Thermo King has an opportunity for a Verification & Validation Engineering Intern, which provides current college students with challenging assignments, leadership training, valuable exposure to our company's senior leaders, and opportunities to network. Our 12-week summer engineering opportunity offers candidates working toward their Engineering degree exposure to a variety of assignments which could include: New Product Development, verification & validation, quality engineering, product design, test, and analysis. In this role, you will be responsible for all or portions of the Design Verification Plan on key projects for the company.
This role has been designated by the Company as Safety Sensitive.
Where is the work: This position has been designated as On-Site in our Bloomington, MN facility.

- Pursuing a bachelors-level Engineering or Engineering Technology Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Automotive. 3rd-year (junior year) status by the start date and a cumulative overall GPA at or above 3.0 is preferred; however, equivalent professional or internship experience will also be considered.
- Classwork and hands-on experience in areas like HVAC, automotive, test labs, or similar.
- Experience with measurement systems and devices, including uncertainty analysis and test planning in classroom or professional settings. Alternatively, experience with 1D or 3D CAE modeling in classroom or professional settings.
Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $24.30/hr - $27.54/hr
Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, and geographic location where the work is performed.
