Job Summary:
The Program Manager drives strategic initiatives within Caterpillar’s Integrated Components Division (ICD) by designing, implementing, and sustaining programs that enhance operational excellence and deliver measurable business outcomes. This role leads a diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives while optimizing processes across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain functions. The Program Manager champions standardized methodologies, fosters cross-functional collaboration, and leverages data-driven insights to mitigate risks, manage resources, and accelerate execution. Success in this position requires exceptional leadership, strong influencing skills, and the ability to integrate complex systems to achieve ICD’s long-term growth and performance goals.
What You Will Do:
- Plan, organize, monitor, and control a portfolio of projects within the division, ensuring alignment with corporate and divisional strategies.
- Translate corporate objectives into actionable program goals using frameworks such as McKinsey 7S and refine operational priorities to maintain alignment.
- Implement standard work practices and apply Lean Six Sigma Green Belt methodologies to improve efficiency and quality.
- Build bridges across engineering, operations, HR, and other functions to break down silos and foster collaboration.
- Gather and analyze data to inform decisions, select KPIs, and monitor program performance.
- Serve as a liaison between teams and stakeholders, using persuasive communication to drive adoption of best practices and achieve program objectives.
Education requirement:
Candidates should possess a Bachelors degree or demonstrate equivalent knowledge through professional expertise.
What skills you will have:
Program Management: Manage complex programs and portfolios, ensuring effective risk assessment, resource allocation, and performance tracking to deliver results. Apply structured governance models and reporting mechanisms to maintain transparency and accountability throughout all phases of program execution.
Cross-Team Integration: Lead integration efforts across diverse teams and functions, fostering collaboration and seamless execution in matrix environments. Resolve interdependencies and align priorities between engineering, operations, and business units to accelerate delivery and minimize bottlenecks.
Alignment: Develop and implement strategies using structured frameworks such as McKinsey 7S, ensuring organizational objectives remain aligned across all levels. Translate corporate vision into actionable plans that synchronize stakeholder expectations, resource allocation, and performance metrics.
Influencing: Leverage insights and clear communication to gain stakeholder buy-in and guide decision-making in high-impact initiatives. Present data-driven recommendations to senior leadership, influencing strategic direction without direct authority.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize Lean Six Sigma Green Belt expertise and strong analytical capabilities to apply continuous improvement methodologies and interpret data for informed decisions. Use advanced analytics tools and KPIs to identify trends, optimize processes, and support evidence-based strategic planning.
Top candidates will also have:
- HR Experience: Background in HR or talent management to support organizational development initiatives.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish): For effective communication across diverse teams.
- Experience implementing standard work and driving operational excellence in a manufacturing or technical environment.
Additional Information:
This position requires the candidate to work onsite five days a week at the Dallas, TX office.

Summary Pay Range:
$144,960.00 - $217,320.00
