This role will be the leader of Supply Chain Operations located at our Markem-Imaje Bhiwadi facility. The successful incumbent will lead all operations functions (logistics, manufacturing, production planning, procurement, maintenance, quality, manufacturing engineering and continuous improvement). This role is accountable for providing leadership direction and operational execution through the team across the operations functions in line with the operational plan. This role is a critical enabler to achieve set revenue growth and profitability targets for products manufactured at this facility in line with our customer commitments.

What you will do:
Execution
• Manage production and supporting process to achieve expected results in terms of safety, quality, on time delivery, inventory and productivity
• Implement/maintain Daily Management System in manufacturing and supply chain to drive operational performance (gap identification and resolution)
• Manage bottlenecks in the process - allocate human and equipment resources and direct production employees to attain all established goals.
• Ensure continuous compliance with health and safety and compliance standards.
• Build the annual budget, monitor permanently the expenses and adjust as necessary to maintain site competitiveness
Leadership & Collaboration
• Lead direct reports (logistics, manufacturing, production planning, procurement, maintenance, quality, manufacturing engineering and continuous improvement) and their activities to achieve operational goals
• This includes overall performance management, training and development as well as analyzing and resolving work problems and discipline.
• Coordinate the hiring and the training in collaboration with the HR team
• Conduct performance appraisals and provide coaching and guidance to all employees.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams (HR, finance, Sales, etc..) locally and globally to ensure efficient communication and alignment
• Provide exceptional leadership to optimize performance and continually improve efficiency and capability.
Continuous improvement
• Implement Global Operational Excellence Program in collaboration with Global/functional experts to deploy lean manufacturing and develop a solid culture of performance and continuous improvement
• Deliver annual savings results by removing inefficiencies and implement productivity initiatives (process improvement, logistics optimization, waste reduction, materials cost reduction, etc.)
What you need to have:
• At least 10-15 years of progressive leadership experience including Production Management / Plant Management in a global organization
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience with a strong technical affinity.
• Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma Certification desired
• Production Planning / Supply Chain experience desired
• Strong understanding of financials
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Full professional proficiency in English
• Availability to travel domestically and internationally (international travel requirement is limited).
