Description:WHAT WE'RE DOINGThe Transmissions Procurement team is seeking a qualified Subcontract Management Staff who will be responsible for the overall performance of a complex supply base. This individual will play a critical role in driving material delivery improvements to best support our internal and external customers.
THE WORKResponsibilities will include the following:
• Developing bid packages, evaluating criteria, analyzing response, making order placement decisions
• Writing up award packages inclusive of statements of work, price and terms
• Supplier relationship management and driving improvement efforts
• Working cross-functionally to identify, manage and mitigate significant supplier issues
• Lead key supplier negotiations of cost, terms and conditions and USG flow downs.
• Management of supplier performance and subcontract management including Price/Cost, On-Time Delivery, Cost of Poor Quality, and other performance elements.
• Manage resolution of producibility and quality issues – process qualification/changes, rejections, & all supporting quality initiatives
• Many other responsibilities as they arise with managing complex subcontracts

• Experience in Subcontract Management, Procurement, or a related field
• Knowledge of contracting principles, practices, and regulations
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
Desired Skills:• Experienced team player with collaborative skills
• Experience with government contracts/subcontracts
• Ability to lead and work with cross-functional teams
• Experience multi-tasking and prioritizing workload to meet program/customer needs

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
