About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Analytics Consultant for the Compliance Data, Analytics, and Visualization (CDAV) team. This team is responsible for providing dashboards and analytics to Business Aligned Compliance Officers (BACOs) and Compliance SMEs.
The Lead Analytics Consultant will be responsible for creating dashboards and performing data analytics using Business Intelligence (BI) and analytic tools including Tableau, Power BI, SAS Viya, Alteryx, and SQL.
In this role, you will:- Lead the strategy and resolution of complex challenges related to business execution that require solid analytical skills, understanding of business, delivering longer term, and large- scale solutions.
- Own the execution of deep-dive analyses to find meaningful patterns, root cause and/or answer complex business questions to drive business decisions.
- Present findings to senior leadership and process owners to inform and influence business strategy and direction.
- May assist in the technical build-out and/or support of databases, query tools, reporting/BI tools and collaboration tools etc. that enable analysis, modeling, and/or data visualization.
- May manage project teams.
- Work as technical expert in delivering high quality analysis, reports, and insights.
- Lead team meetings to facilitate decision making and support implementation of recommendations and plans.
- Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across multiple lines of businesses and serve as an experienced advisor to the leadership.
- Manage or participate on large cross group projects and potentially mentor less experienced staff.
- Collaborate and consult with business partners, peers, colleagues, external contractors, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
- Develop visualizations and data extracts using diverse data sets to support compliance insights with increase scope, precision, and efficiency.
- Support the end-to-end life cycle of visualization and analytic projects including tool section, sourcing of data, ideation, documentation, peer reviews, UAT, production deployment and support.
Required Qualifications:- 5+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications:- 4+ years of demonstrated/hands-on experience executing analytics or creating visualizations, using any combination of Business Intelligence (BI) and analytic tools including Tableau, Power BI, SAS Viya, Alteryx, or SQL.
- 4+ years of experience analyzing, interpreting and formatting data using scripts or other analytic tools.
- 2+ years of Compliance and/or Risk experience.
- Ability to identify and evaluate risks and potential exposures to the overall organization.
- Knowledge and understanding of SharePoint and Power Apps.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to apply independent judgment and innovative problem-solving strategies.
- Proven capacity to work autonomously, prioritize tasks effectively, meet deadlines, and deliver optimized solutions.
- Skilled in assessing stakeholders, partner, and client needs to consult, design solutions, and develop efficient processes.
- Adept at translating complex technical requirements into clear, actionable requests, fostering collaboration across diverse teams.
- Familiarity with formal projects and change management processes, particularly Agile and similar methodologies.
- Professional presentation skills.

Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$100,000.00 - $179,000.00
