THE POSITION
We are looking for a dynamic Quality Supervisor to establish BPI’s quality assurance system and team, directly influencing customer satisfaction and site financial performance. You will be the driving force behind our continuous improvement efforts and defect reduction initiatives, establishing a robust and effective Quality Management System (QMS).This role requires a leader who can educate and train employees, inspire a culture of quality, and implement improvement activities such as Kaizen and Six Sigma to elevate the performance of DPO’s value streams.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- System Leadership: Develop, implement, manage, and integrate a comprehensive QMS for DPO, serving as the primary quality control resource for problem identification, resolution, and continuous improvement.
- Process Excellence: Design, implement, and document procedures for process control, improvement, testing, and inspection. Establish and implement key metrics (process capability, control charts) to monitor system effectiveness and support data-driven decisions.
- Problem Solving: Lead root-cause analysis and problem-solving activities to identify and implement effective corrective actions and sustainable process improvements.
- Stakeholder Management: Interface with customer and supplier quality representatives, manage vendor performance, and ensure all purchase orders, contracts, and change requests align with stringent quality provisions.
- Team Management: Manage quality control personnel on a day-to-day basis, participate in engineering projects to represent quality assurance, and report key quality trends and losses directly to management.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Education: A four-year college or university degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field is required. A Master's degree, Professional Engineer (PE), or similar professional certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Eight or more years of relevant experience in a quality management role is essential. Experience within the oil and gas industry is preferred.
- Skills: Proven expertise in statistical data analysis, process certification standards, calibration programs, and leading internal and external quality audits
