Description:Responsible for the dismantling, overhaul, repair and assembly of all boiler and associated equipment, refrigeration water chillers, compressors, heat exchangers, motors, various types of pumps, cooling towers and all related equipment. Repairs or replaces all defective parts, adjusts clearances and tolerances, and checks equipment operation by observing pressure and oil gages, and noting abnormal sounds and other unusual occurrences. Diagnoses trouble and makes corrective repairs. Working from blueprint, pattern or design drawing, lays out, sets up and performs machining operations on various machine tools, working to exact tolerances. Repairs, replaces and fits bearings of rotating equipment.
Works with various grades and types of steel, alloys, and other metals. Perform incidental welding tasks
Basic Qualifications:Minimum three years experience in Industrial equipment.
Desired Skills:Experience working on boilers, chillers, compressors, and cooling towers.
Experience with all hand and power tools required to repair plant, property, equipment.
Experience in welding.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
The base range for this position in California is $34.93 - $51.95.
