As a Flight Operations Intern at Lowe’s, you’ll support the day-to-day coordination of aviation services that keep our corporate air travel running smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You’ll partner closely with the aviation team to manage logistics, scheduling, and communications for executive travel on company aircraft. Summer Internship Program

Our 10-week summer internship program (May 26 – July 31, 2026) immerses you in real-world retail operations. You’ll work directly with industry experts across our stores, distribution centers, and corporate offices, gaining practical experience through hands-on projects that make meaningful contributions to our business and communities.

What You Will Learn
How to assist with corporate flight scheduling, including flight coordination in compliance with FAA and internal regulations.
Skills in aviation-specific scheduling software and systems for tracking passenger data, expenses, and trip logistics.
How to organize and execute crew and passenger logistics: ground transportation, lodging, catering, and customs documentation.
Exposure to cost modeling and reporting for corporate travel events.
How to support executive-level communication and calendar coordination.
The role of aviation in supporting senior leadership travel for operational efficiency.
How aviation teams coordinate closely with maintenance and safety teams to ensure readiness.
Best practices in record-keeping, confidentiality, and administrative coordination in an aviation setting.
Minimum Qualifications
Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in aviation management, business administration, logistics, operations, or related field.
Expected graduation dates of December 2026 or May 2027.
Preferred Skills/Experience
3.0 cumulative GPA or higher.
Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
Interest in or experience with aviation operations, logistics, or dispatch.
Experience in a leadership role through work or student organizations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and scheduling software.
Attention to detail, confidentiality, and discretion with executive communication.
