ToyotaFinancial Services’Data Engineering Department is looking for a passionate andhighly-motivatedPrincipal Engineer.
The primary responsibility of this role is to leadarchitectureanddesignof enterprise-grade data platformsand to act as the senior engineer overseeing the implementation of data platforms to ensure that the architecture and design of those platforms is implemented correctly.
Reporting toNational Manager, Data Developer Experience,the person in this role will support the Data Engineering department’sobjectiveto enable scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms to support Toyota’s digital transformation.
Develop and implement data processing and transformation tools, including DBT, Airflow, and custom utilities
Mentor otherengineers, guidebest practices, and collaboratewithanalysts, engineers, anddatascientists to ensureappropriate designand delivery.
