Responsibilities
Lead a team managing procurement operations across the supply network to achieve response time, cost, quality, and lean targets for efficient facility operations.
Ensure supplier network compliance with CLC’s Quality, Cost, Logistics, Development, and Management (QCLDM) standards.
Collaborate with business partners and suppliers to resolve facility-specific issues and drive continuous improvement.
Degree Requirement
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience desired in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.

Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Knowledge of the concepts, principles and techniques of root cause analysis (RCA); ability to use a structured approach to identify the causes of undesirable consequences in a manufacturing environment and the changes needed to prevent recurrences.
Level Working Knowledge:
• Utilizes RCA techniques, such as Flowchart, Fish-bone Diagram, etc., to investigate basic problems, determine the causes, and find resolutions.
• Locates factors that resulted in harmful outcomes of one or more past events.
• Pinpoints behaviors, actions, inaction, or conditions that need to be changed.
• Extrapolates lessons to be learned to promote the achievement of better consequences.
• Practices RCA as an iterative process.
Supplier Management - MFG: Knowledge of processes and methods to effectively manage business relationships and transactions with suppliers of raw materials or product components; ability to apply related knowledge, experience and skills into real practice.
Level Extensive Experience:
• Facilitates supplier partnering arrangements that share risk and reward.
• Monitors supplier performance; works to resolve discrepancies between performance and agreements.
• Develops quality standards and controls for suppliers.
• Builds and maintains partnerships with multiple and/or large suppliers.
• Evaluates issues and terminates supplier relationships as appropriate; works with legal departments.
• Ensures the fulfillment of report and record-keeping requirements.
Purchasing Tasks and Activities: Knowledge of policies, regulations and processes of purchasing; ability to use practices and procedures for procurement of materials, components, equipment and services.
Level Extensive Experience:
• Works with the implementation of complex purchasing programs and tasks.
• Advises on the appropriate solutions to complex purchasing activity problems.
• Monitors the effectiveness of procurement policies and strategies in high cost purchases.
• Improves procurement processes to maximize products or services efficiency and effectiveness.
• Teaches others how to use advanced technologies and tools for purchasing activities.
• Evaluates issues and considerations for purchasing various goods and services.
This position requires the candidate to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.
