About your role:
You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs.
What you'll do:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Fiserv's business goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities.

Experience you'll need to have:
- 5+ years of experience with Assembler, COBOL and CICS.
- 5+ years of experience with MVS, JCL, DB2 and VSAM
- 3+ years of experience with CA7, File Master, and Endevor.
- 3+ years with monitoring tools; SYSVIEW; Platinum; FDIO; IDCAMS; z/OS Mainframe; Splunk; and Cycleview.
- Experience with MQ Series, InterTest, Abend-Aid and SQL.
- Experience with JCL Check, Endevor, InfoMan Turnover Tool,
- Experience with REXX, SyncSort, TSO, FTP, NDM, and SAR.
- 4+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience
How you’ll work
- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
Travel
- Approximately 10% travel off-site or to other office locations is expected.
