Program Summary
KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 10 countries.
Job Summary
Under general direction, the Laborer performs essential cleaning, setup, and other general labor tasks. The role involves assisting with event setups, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of MWR facilities and equipment. It offers hands-on experience in a dynamic environment where teamwork, safety, and attention to detail are key.
Roles and Responsibilities
Support daily operation of the MWR Warehouse by performing various tasks within the facility.
Assist in loading and unloading the trucks and transporting items between Warehouse and MWR facilities or Athletic Fields.
Perform daily cleaning of MWR facilities, including sweeping, mopping, window cleaning, and waste disposal.
Empty and disinfect waste bins, replace liners, and transport trash to designated dumpsters.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas and ensure cleaning materials are safely stored.
Assist MWR Coordinator with event setups, including arranging equipment and preparing spaces.
Monitor and maintain the condition of MWR equipment and facilities during events and daily operations.
Support warehouse activities such as receiving, organizing, and storing materials and equipment.
Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment at all times.
Communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers and customers.
Read and interpret instructions and procedures provided by supervisors.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Foreman or Supervisor.
Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must have a valid vehicle driver’s license and maintain its validity for the duration of employment.
Beginner in English proficiency: Must be able to speak, read, and write in English at at beginner level.
Capable of performing manual labor, including lifting, standing, bending, and working outdoors.
Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written directions.
Demonstrates commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to established safety standards.
Fluency in Albanian and possessing an unrestricted right to work and reside in Kosovo.
Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
Prior experience supporting event setups or warehouse operations.
Familiarity with sports rules and regulations.
Experience working in MWR or similar recreational support environments.
Trained and certified in AED, CPR, and basic first aid.
Basic knowledge of audio-visual system operation.
Previous experience in housekeeping.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
