Consult and provide testing guidance to internal program customers and verify their proposed testing will meet the intended requirements.

Write test plans and procedures that meet the requirements and safety of testing requested by internal program customers as well as review plans and procedures written by others. Also create schedules and budgets for all testing.

Oversee and personally conduct environmental testing to validate models for the purposes of new product qualification, production acceptance, flight test clearance, engineering evaluations, and failure investigations.

Implement engineering best practices to ensure testing is performed accurately, on schedule, and within allowed budget.

Analyze test data in real time and posttest to validate requirements have been met in accordance with requirements.

Communicate status of ongoing testing efforts with ET leadership and internal program customers.

Design, model, and analyze vibration and structural test fixtures using CREO Parametric and Ansys Workbench.
Qualifications You Must Have
-
Typically requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, or closely related STEM field, and five (5) years of relevant experience.

Experience working with basic hand tools, torque wrenches, and diagnostic equipment.

Minimum of two years of technical writing experience in test planning, analysis, or reporting.

Minimum of two years of experience working with environmental test vibration shaker systems or experience with instrumentation (accelerometers, thermocouples, strain gages, load cells, etc.) and data acquisition systems (Dewetron, DeweSoft, LabView, Agilent/Keysight, Benchlink, Somat, etc.).

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer

Preferred engineering majors include Electrical, Aerospace, or Mechanical.

Experience working with commercial environmental test equipment to include vibration test systems and thermal chambers.

Experience working with vibration control systems and software.

Experience with solid modeling and analysis software applications.

High situational awareness and ability to effectively work multiple projects simultaneously.

Current DoD secret or TS/SSBI clearance.

This position is an Onsite role. Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency in the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
