Responding to help-desk tickets or project-driven tasks (for existing production areas). Examples include executing standard procedures for sustainment, deployment, minor patching, or major upgrades of multiple applications, Apache web server, Red Hat Linux operating system, Oracle database, etc.

Deploying the PDM tool-suite (for new production areas)

Acceptance Testing new versions of the PDM tool-suite

Following, updating, and authoring technical documentation to complete the tasks listed above

Assisting other members of the team

Utilizing problem solving and troubleshooting skills to resolve issues experienced in production areas

Actively engaging with individuals from multiple functions (cybersecurity, system administrators, program management, engineers, etc.) and collaborating with critical program and functional stakeholders to ensure effective and timely deployment of our PDM tool-suite

This is a first shift position within our team and will be onsite at Raytheon locations across the greater North Dallas, TX area, with occasional travel requirements.

Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date.

You will apply for a Top Secret Clearance after your start date (If you do not posses one already).

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience.

Experience with Linux/Unix commands, operations, and administration

Experience working individually and leading across teams to drive results

Ability to obtain a U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:

Experience in the following technologies, tools, or methodologies: PTC Windchill, Oracle database, Apache web server, Linux & Windows server operating systems, Shell scripting, CAD tools (e.g. Creo Parametric), Agile tools & processes (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, SAFe, Kanban)

Windchill upgrade experience and Enterprise Red Had Linux experience

Knowledge of Raytheon security protocols and processes within classified areas

Knowledge of the Raytheon tool Common PDM

Experience in the following Raytheon functions: Configuration Management, Data Management

Successes and strength in troubleshooting, hands-on problem solving, communication (oral & written), customer service, and process improvement efforts.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
