The F135 engine program is seeking a highly motivated Customer Support Engineer (CSE) responsible for Source Data in support of F135 Joint Technical Data (JTD) engine manual creation and updates. The CSE will work closely with the engineering teams on Limits Development & Expansion activities and configuration updates (engineering changes) in support of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for the F135 engine, for both Unit and Depot Maintenance levels. The CSE will also support incorporation of Non-Engineering updates based on customer feedback, to continually improve the JTD.
What You Will Do:

Answer technical data inquiries and provide timely technical data updates to support maintenance and operations on the F135 engine.

Drive customer satisfaction by influencing the JTD through process improvements and incorporation of engineering requirements.

Review of limits incorporation documents and engineering changes from a sustainment perspective
-
Influence effective solutions for implementation plans for new configurations.

Review and disposition Joint Technical Data change requests, evaluating the request based on technical expertise and sustainment process knowledge

Perform authoring and documentation of JTD revision traceability files (Source Data), including creation of source data deliverables, quality reviews, workflow progression, task assignments, and resolution of customer comments

Collaborate with internal engineering groups, customers, vendors, and CSEs located at Depot & Unit sites to resolve technical issues and ensure optimal instruction for JTD.

Identify support system issues with leadership and help develop solutions to meet the customer’s needs.
Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Engineering or another Technical Degree with 5+ years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree in related field with 3+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications We Prefer:

F135 engine build, manufacturing, or design experience.

2+ years of experience of military engine knowledge and experience.

Knowledge or expertise in limits development and/or configuration management and engineering changes.

Experience using technical data, drawings and requirements.

Good work ethic with solid problem-solving ability.

Strong attention to detail and ability to track work at a micro level.

Ability to support operations in a fast paced, dynamic, and results-based production environment.

Strong Project Management, time management, teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in MS Office applications.
