Qualifications You Must Have
-
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
-
8 years of engineering experience, or an Advanced Degree and 5 years’ experience.

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer

Hands on experience in the development and troubleshooting of safety critical embedded software on target processors

Hands-on experience with multi-core processors

Demonstrated experience with real-time operating systems

Solid experience in C, Ada, assembly

Experience in Python
-
Familiarity with ARINC429, CAN bus and other communication protocols and the Ethernet communication stack

Experience with software configuration management and defect tracking tools and agile methods

Experience using logic analyzers, emulators and test hardware

Experience in safety critical embedded software verification to meet RTCA DO-178 certification standards

Proven experience in control system software architecture, requirements, and design

Controls & Diagnostics Systems (CDS)
CDS develops complex, cyber-resilient control systems and software for commercial and military engines including power and thermal management Systems and auxiliary power units. CDS also develops advanced diagnostic & health management systems to monitor our products, forecast events and help facilitate MRO operations. With growing emphasis on sustainability, CDS is on the forefront of system development for hybrid and electric propulsion.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
